THE ONLY HIGH PRESSURE SEALANT

RapidAir sealant was developed hand-in-hand with the tire. It’s the only sealant formulated specifically for high pressure 24c to 30c tires. If anything gets through our BlackBelt protection it seals punctures up to 3mm essentially instantly. It’s kept our World Tour riders racing and winning, not standing by the side of the road waiting for the team car.

CONSTRUCTED LIKE NO OTHER

Traditionally, clinchers have been made with one casing ply that overlaps under the tread, hurting rolling resistance and ride quality. For RapidAir, we use two thin plies that overlap at the side wall for tires that roll 10% faster and grip better than tubulars. And thanks to our unprecedented CT scans of inflated tires, RapidAir mounts easily and holds air more consistently.

Our legendary GRIPTON compound has the best traction, wet or dry, in our performance tire lineup, while the fine threads of our 120TPI casing work with the patent-pending construction to lower rolling resistance and stabilize side walls for precise handling. At just 260 grams with no need for a tube, you’ll be climbing with ease.
